4. What Coaching Is
Coaching is a collaborative process designed to help you explore your thinking, gain perspective, clarify your priorities and identify actions that align with your goals.
Our coaching may involve questions, reflection, observations, exercises and respectful challenge.
Coaching is not about telling you what to do. You remain responsible for your own decisions, choices and actions.
5. What Coaching Is Not
Our coaching services are not a substitute for:
Medical advice or treatment.
Mental health treatment or psychotherapy.
Counselling.
Legal advice.
Financial advice.
Any other regulated professional service.
If you need specialist support, you should seek advice from a suitably qualified professional.
You should contact the appropriate emergency or healthcare service if you are experiencing an urgent health or safety concern.
6. Booking and Payment
Bookings can be made through our website, booking platform or another agreed booking method.
The applicable price will be communicated before you commit to a purchase.
Payment arrangements may vary depending on the service. Where payment is required in advance, your booking will be confirmed once payment has been successfully received, unless otherwise agreed.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during booking is accurate.
For international clients, prices may be displayed or processed in a currency specified at checkout. Your payment provider may apply currency conversion charges or other fees.
We will provide applicable pre-contract information and payment details as required by law.
7. Discovery and Clarity Calls
Discovery or clarity calls are intended to help us explore your circumstances, goals and whether coaching may be appropriate for you.
A free discovery call does not automatically create an ongoing coaching relationship or guarantee acceptance onto a programme.
Any subsequent paid services will be subject to the applicable service details and contractual terms.
8. Coaching Packages and Validity
Unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation:
Our one-to-one coaching package includes six sessions.
The package is valid for six months from the date of purchase.
Sessions must be arranged and completed within the validity period.
Any extension must be agreed in writing.
If exceptional circumstances affect your ability to use a package within its validity period, please contact us as soon as possible. Any extension will be considered fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
9. Rescheduling and Cancellation by the Client
We ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled coaching session.
You can request a change by contacting:
Where less than 48 hours' notice is provided, or you do not attend without notice, the session may be treated as used, subject to your statutory rights and any circumstances that may justify an exception.
If you arrive late, your session will normally finish at the originally scheduled time.
This policy does not remove any cancellation or other rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
10. Statutory Cancellation Rights
If you purchase services online as a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel your contract within a specified cancellation period, including a 14-day cancellation period for many distance contracts.
The applicable cancellation period, exceptions and consequences will depend on the service and the circumstances of your purchase.
If you ask us to begin providing a service during a cancellation period, we may need to obtain your express request and provide the required information about the consequences of cancellation.
For digital content, additional requirements may apply where you request immediate access.
Information about your applicable cancellation rights will be provided as part of the booking or purchase process.
To exercise a cancellation right or ask a question about cancellation, contact:
11. Refunds
Refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and the specific terms provided at the time of purchase.
Where we cancel a service and you are entitled to a refund, we will provide the applicable refund or other remedy.
If you wish to request a refund, please contact us with details of your booking and the reason for your request.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights or any remedies available to you under applicable law.
12. Cancellation or Changes by Us
We may need to reschedule, modify or cancel a session, workshop or programme due to circumstances such as illness, technical difficulties or events beyond our reasonable control.
Where we need to make a change, we will communicate with you as soon as reasonably possible and seek to provide an appropriate alternative or remedy.
If we cancel a paid service and you are entitled to a refund, we will provide the applicable refund in accordance with the law and the terms of your purchase.
We will not use this section to remove rights you may have where we are responsible for a failure to provide the contracted service.
13. Confidentiality
We aim to provide a confidential and respectful coaching environment.
Information you share during coaching will be treated as confidential, subject to the following circumstances:
You give permission for information to be shared.
Disclosure is required by law.
Disclosure is necessary to address a serious and immediate risk of harm, where legally permitted or required.

You may choose not to answer any question or participate in an exercise.
We do not guarantee any particular personal, career, financial or other outcome from coaching.
15. Professional Boundaries
We may pause or end a coaching relationship where coaching is no longer appropriate, another form of support would be more suitable, or there is abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate behaviour.
Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason for ending or pausing the relationship and discuss any appropriate next steps.
Any refunds or outstanding payments will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law and the relevant booking terms.
16. Online Coaching and Technical Requirements

Where a technical issue prevents a session from taking place, we will work with you to determine an appropriate solution.
17. Coaching Notes and Recordings
We may keep brief coaching notes to support the continuity and quality of our work.
We will handle these notes in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Neither the coach nor the client may record a coaching session without the other party's prior agreement, subject to any applicable legal requirements.
Any recordings we agree to make will be handled in accordance with the arrangements communicated at the time.
18. Intellectual Property
Content provided by In Before Out Coaching, including website content, workshops, presentations, workbooks, worksheets, guides and digital resources, belongs to us or our relevant licensors unless otherwise stated.

You must not reproduce, resell, distribute, publish, share or commercially exploit our materials without prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have under applicable intellectual property law.
19. Testimonials and Feedback
We may invite clients to provide feedback about their experience.
We will only publish a testimonial identifying you with your permission.
Testimonials reflect the experiences of the individuals who provide them. They do not guarantee that another client will achieve the same results.
20. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that the law does not permit us to exclude.
We are responsible for providing our services with reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions, actions or outcomes resulting from your independent choices, or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Any liability provisions will be interpreted subject to applicable consumer protection laws and your statutory rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights and protections that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.
Where you are a consumer, this governing law provision does not remove any mandatory consumer rights or prevent you from relying on protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
